Marie Pulte

I am a family law attorney, mediator, and arbitrator practicing primarily in Oakland, Livingston, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties for the past 21 years. I am a trained Collaborative Law attorney and a past board member of the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan, (CPIM). I am also a past chair of the Family Mediation Council - Michigan, and Wayne County Chapter of the FMC.

My philosophy is to assist parties in getting through the family law arena as amicably as possible whether acting as an advocate for one party or a neutral for both parties. I believe that alternative dispute resolution options should be utilized whenever possible.

I have coached at various domestic mediation trainings, have been a presenter at family law, mediation and domestic violence seminars, serve on the Mediation Advisory Board for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and provide volunteer services to various other organizations related to family law.

I am a member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan, the Family Mediation Council - Michigan, the Women Lawyer's Association of Michigan, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, Livingston County Bar Association, and the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association. I am married to attorney Carlo Martina and have four wonderful children.

Rebecca Tooman

I am a family law attorney practicing primarily in Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties. I worked at Marie A. Pulte, P.C. while attending Law School at Wayne State University and became an attorney in 2007. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting. My finance background assists in analysis of the marital estate (assets and liabilities) and resolving financial disputes. My philosophy is to resolve each case as amicably and unproblematic as possible. I also believe that alternative dispute resolution options should be utilized whenever possible.

I am a member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section, Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, Family Mediation Council - Michigan, Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association. I enjoy spending time with my family including two children.
